If everyone followed the masses then weddings would only ever take place in large estates in the middle of the rolling British countryside. However, with a little imagination and a spoonful of styling, wedding couple Jess and Steve bucked the trend by getting married in a beautiful Edwardian village hall just outside central Bristol.
Westbury-on-Trym village hall has capacity for 120 people in total. What does that mean? It means enough for a decent sized wedding with all your key friends and family present but intimate enough to save you having to make excuses for not being able to invite that old work friend from 15 years ago who happened to notice your engaged status on Facebook.
Jess and Steve couldn’t have been better to work with, and exactly what I look for in a prospective wedding client. Relaxed, trusting of my creative eye, and willing to put aside a little time to get the desired result.
Kirsten aka The Little Wedding Helper had waved her magic wand with a light touch to the styling for the day. Pretty flourishes dotted around the village hall, giving it a delicate airy feel.
The best man’s speech was also a unique affair, producing an amusing wig, cape and box of exhibits for a full blown judge-and-jury court case.
